Compesh is a question and answer (and debate) website, so before you make a debate, you better learn what an assertion is. I suppose you already know what a question is, and that you've typed it in the box. ;)
An assertion, is basically a statement you can make, that is either true or false.
Richer people have better health.
The question for that would be, Do richer people have better health?
And don't forget to make your assertion, match your question.

Sorting out the atrocious profile pages.Could you elaborate?
For looking at your own profile, the page is fine, you get recent history. But for looking at other people's profiles, the profile page doesn't fulfill its pupose.They should allow people to write themselves a profile to go in the sidebar, and link to their social networking websites. They could also do more with the profiles, such as making the page easier to read and navigate, by listing all the saved submissions the person has, and having an aggregated section, so that if someone comments 50 times on one submission they can collapse those comments into one listing. There should also be a new tab for saved, to list what submissions the person has saved.
Right now the profile pages give users no reason to go on them. Leon Kitain already suggested placing a follow button onto profiles, so their recent activity can go into a news feed. Profile pages should be made useful. Sometimes the badges on the page are more useful to look at.
