Compesh is a question and answer website that people can use to ask each other questions and answer each others. There is also a group feature which functions as a blog and having status updates. This is so that the website breaks down into smaller groups.

If you find a thread interesting and would like to see related threads, simply click the tag to find other threads which are assigned to that tag.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Is this a yahoo answers, jelly or quora alternative and why would you make one?
Yes it is an alternative I made because yahoo answers and quora censor people and jelly shut down.

Compesh is a freedom of speech forum. As I have been banned from 15 places online for being politically incorrect despite not breaking any rules, I recognise there is a demand for a freedom of speech Q&A forum.

What did you use to make the website?
PHP, Codeigniter, Sublime Text, Photoshop and various javascript libraries and icons.

Why is it called Compesh?
A compass tells you where to go if you are sailing in the sea, but I can't call it Compass as it is too generic and there are lots of companies and websites called Compass, so I called it Compesh instead.

Will there be an iphone or android smartphone app for Compesh?
No because I don't see a need. An app wouldn't provide any benefits over the mobile website, as the website is fast and is not to be used as a multimedia or chatting app.

How do I format my text and insert images?
A rich text editor is coming soon.

What's an assertion, and what should I type in?

Compesh is a question and answer (and debate) website, so before you make a debate, you better learn what an assertion is. I suppose you already know what a question is, and that you've typed it in the box. ;)

An assertion, is basically a statement you can make, that is either true or false.

Richer people have better health.

The question for that would be, Do richer people have better health?

And don't forget to make your assertion, match your question.
