Why should we require high school students to study subjects in which they have no interest? Why not allow them to choose the disciplines they want to study, i.e., to focus their studies in an area that interests them?

We force them to take courses they hate and will never use, which seems like a vast waste of resources.

Vocational subjects like Art, Music, PE, Technology, Food, and Citizenship that teach no academic skills, provide escapism for children, and they allow children to have better grades in school because those "fun" subjects exist.

I believe that for certain years at school, the years are a waste of learning, like for example in the UK, Key Stage 3 which lasts for three years. What the government can't do, is end mandatory education three years earlier, leaving kids with employment prospects as they're minors, so they use those years to fill up their heads up with rubbish.
