Compesh is a question and answer (and debate) website, so before you make a debate, you better learn what an assertion is. I suppose you already know what a question is, and that you've typed it in the box. ;)
An assertion, is basically a statement you can make, that is either true or false.
Richer people have better health.
The question for that would be, Do richer people have better health?
And don't forget to make your assertion, match your question.
I cannot think of any activity that all of us children all did together as a child. For that reason, all us children have completely different opinions, values, and moral code. All that was expected of us was to be good people, and to treat people equally. That was it. Nothing else. We never went to the park on the weekends all together, or have us all play the same imaginary games.
So........the only trait I've learnt from my parents would be to be nice, and that is debateable, as my sister says I don't treat my mother with respect because of my attitude when I talk.
Yes, how to be good.
I can now say that I am the person who I chose to be, and also that I have never felt that I wasn't normal in my life. I know that my choices are my decisions, and that I am in control for my actions. I was brought up to be a good person.
Update
For that reason, my brother who I get on the most with is also my anathema. Every perception he has on life and people, I disagree with. His moral code, I disagree with.
