What are the worst aspects of the United States of America?

Aspects to consider might include political factors, cultural views, geographic issues, etc.

  • That America is getting more fascist every day. Think totalitarian.
  • America has more prisoners than the population of Europe combined.
  • America likes to move the scum of society into prison to eradicate the poor, and make for-profit prisons full of slaves.
  • They dictate to other countries what laws they can and cannot do, by making threats of stopping trade and war based on that.
  • No freedom of the press and legalised wiretapping.
  • There is no democracy, so most of your votes are worthless, thanks to the Electoral College.
  • Democrats and Republicans are the same political party, so nothing ever changes no matter who you vote for. (Vote Ron Paul)

What's an assertion, and what should I type in?

Compesh is a question and answer (and debate) website, so before you make a debate, you better learn what an assertion is. I suppose you already know what a question is, and that you've typed it in the box. ;)

An assertion, is basically a statement you can make, that is either true or false.

Richer people have better health.

The question for that would be, Do richer people have better health?

And don't forget to make your assertion, match your question.
