Charisma is a combination of being forthcoming, assertive, alluring, and radiating positive energy. More simply, it's a sort of glow that's a source of positive energy that engages the people who are in their presence. You either have it or you don't.

My brother is charismatic, and I am not. He is my anathema, as I disagree with all his viewpoints, and behave in the opposite way than him. The best way to learn how to be charismatic, is to be put into a situation where you are forced to be charismatic. So for that reason, you should apply to be a charity donation rep who stands on street corners. Your training will begin from the job interview.

There's certain traits that you can exhibit around people that I can't, and vice versa. I'm funny and you're not. But I can't be assertive. There are certain things that we all do well with people, and certain blind spots that we just can't do - because they are at conflict with our core personality which cannot be changed.

For example, I can't be assertive, because my core personality is to be not be assertive and be reclusive. I was at a teenage conference in November in London, that had mostly people who were 14 there, and I was an adult there. In a group conversation, I was the only one who didn't have the ability to take control of the conversation. I had to wait for silence before I bring up something a new topic. But on the flip side, I managed to make a friend there in 3 minutes of arriving there. That's me.

But there's also certain things that I can do with people, that you can't ever do. Such as be funny and get along with everyone.

I can't be charismatic like my brother, I can't be assertive like most people, and they can't be emotive and funny like me. We're all different people. You take the good with the bad.

What's an assertion, and what should I type in?

Compesh is a question and answer (and debate) website, so before you make a debate, you better learn what an assertion is. I suppose you already know what a question is, and that you've typed it in the box. ;)

An assertion, is basically a statement you can make, that is either true or false.

Richer people have better health.

The question for that would be, Do richer people have better health?

And don't forget to make your assertion, match your question.
