How can I wake up without an alarm clock?

Can one train themselves to wake up at specific times or intervals maybe with some training or practice?

Answers just saying go to sleep earlier will not likely be helpful.

  1. Have a regular sleeping pattern.
  2. Have a regular sleeping pattern.
  3. Have a regular sleeping pattern.

If you stay up 3 hours later than you normally do, then your sleeping pattern will shift forward by 3 hours. This will disrupt your bodyclock, and make getting up early difficult. It would take 3 days for your body to be able to compensate for the change, to get your bodyclock back to normal, before the shift forward. This is why you should have a regular sleeping pattern, and stick to it.

I heard from some science tv show, that you can reset your bodyclock by shining a torch behind your knee or on your thighs. I don't know if that's true, but I tried it years ago and got others to, and it worked. (Placebo effect?)

If you want a regular sleeping pattern (not a trick to get up early for just 1 day), and to be able to get up at 8am (or maybe 8-10am) every day like me, you will need to have patience and consistency.

What's an assertion, and what should I type in?

Compesh is a question and answer (and debate) website, so before you make a debate, you better learn what an assertion is. I suppose you already know what a question is, and that you've typed it in the box. ;)

An assertion, is basically a statement you can make, that is either true or false.

Richer people have better health.

The question for that would be, Do richer people have better health?

And don't forget to make your assertion, match your question.
