How do I get my teenage daughter (14) to stop worrying that she has small breasts and convince her that she's perfect the way she is?

My daughter is 14 and is upset that she has small breasts. I can see that it gets her down and she feels bad because most of her friends are more developed. She’s already talking about wanting implants. How do I convince her that she should stop worrying and that she's perfect the way she is?

  • Tell her to wait until she's 21 or 19. Some women develop later on in life.
  • As a parent, makes sure that she doesn't do anything stupid, and that she's comfortable with her sexuality.
  • Let her know that some things aren't as important as they sound, and indirectly teach her how she can be happy in her life, through other means.
  • Ask her about her day at school. Understanding her peer groups is the key.

What's an assertion, and what should I type in?

Compesh is a question and answer (and debate) website, so before you make a debate, you better learn what an assertion is. I suppose you already know what a question is, and that you've typed it in the box. ;)

An assertion, is basically a statement you can make, that is either true or false.

Richer people have better health.

The question for that would be, Do richer people have better health?

And don't forget to make your assertion, match your question.
