An assertion, is basically a statement you can make, that is either true or false.
Richer people have better health.
The question for that would be, Do richer people have better health?
And don't forget to make your assertion, match your question.
If you put on the smiling, people will not think you are genuine, and that you are operating with manipulative intentions, which are either kind or deceptive. To keep smiling at someone you hardly know, it shows that you're insincere.
To keep smiling at girls you are talking to, it shows that you're submissive, clingy, parasitic, and insecure unsure of yourself. User is right.
