Is it possible for you to quickly insert your Associate's ID into the URL of an Amazon.com product? If so, how do you do it?

The ASIN is the Amazon Standard Identification Number, which you will find after dp/ in the product's url for every product on Amazon. You can also find it in the product details on the website. It is basically a product number for everything that sells on Amazon, that is the same worldwide.

For example, for me to gain commission selling my favourite headphones that makes everything sound amazing without distorting the sound, I would have this link.

http://amazon.co.uk/dp/B000G36GO0/infrinity-21

For books, the ISBN and ASIN are the same, so the ASIN would be only numbers.

I have tested this link in Opera after wiping cookies and local storage for Amazon, and it works!

What's an assertion, and what should I type in?

Compesh is a question and answer (and debate) website, so before you make a debate, you better learn what an assertion is. I suppose you already know what a question is, and that you've typed it in the box. ;)

An assertion, is basically a statement you can make, that is either true or false.

Richer people have better health.

The question for that would be, Do richer people have better health?

And don't forget to make your assertion, match your question.
