Misunderstood ain't gotta be explained
But you don't understand me so let me explain

I love being misunderstood Ha ha, why? ‘
Cause I live in the suburbs but I come from the hood
This reminds me of this girl who used to speak to me, who told me that she'd rather be underestimated than overestimated. I found this unusual so I asked why.

She said for her, that it was better for her to be underestimated so she could exceed someone's expectations and prove herself, than to be speaking to someone who overestimates her, so that no matter what she does, she'll never be able to be good enough.

That's just the exact same sentiment that Lil Wayne was expressing in his song.

The sort of person I am, I'd prefer to be put on a pedestal and be popular, so I just had her for her reasoning, as I'd found it strange. People are just different to each other.

And ain't it funny how people change like easter Sunday?
You know church fit then outfit
Bright pink and green chest look house lit
Bright pinky rings but that ain't about this What you ‘bout bitch?
Excuse my French emotion in my passion
But I wear my heart on my sleeve like it's the new fashion
He's talking about pretentious Christians who go to church with their best outfit and pretend to be perfect and impeccably behaved, and when they leave church, they go back to behaving immoraly.

If you don't be pretentious pretending to be someone you're not, putting on a facade, a front, an image to show things to be as they aren't, and you're misunderstood, you can just be happy that you're true to yourself, because at least that way, if you're judged, you're not being judged wrongly.

So love or hate me; I stay hate free
They say we learn from mistakes
Well that's why they mistake me
So in that sense, if people mistake you, it's a good reflection of yourself.

What's an assertion, and what should I type in?

Compesh is a question and answer (and debate) website, so before you make a debate, you better learn what an assertion is. I suppose you already know what a question is, and that you've typed it in the box. ;)

An assertion, is basically a statement you can make, that is either true or false.

Richer people have better health.

The question for that would be, Do richer people have better health?

And don't forget to make your assertion, match your question.
