tynamite's avatar Nobody founded internet trolls. Trolling is a natural human behaviour to want to usurp someone in life, much similar to how we do in real life with practical jokes. It just so happens that you cannot be with or see the person online who you want to play a practical joke with, so you have to use your keyboard to do all the practical joking instead, but it's called trolling because you have to do different things with it.

Asking who founded trolling is like asking who founded flirting or who founded gossiping, bullying, spying, therapy, or charity.

Nobody founded them. They're just natural born facets of human interaction that millions of people around the world are going to engage in on the same day, unbeknownst to each other that they never made it up.

What's an assertion, and what should I type in?

Compesh is a question and answer (and debate) website, so before you make a debate, you better learn what an assertion is. I suppose you already know what a question is, and that you've typed it in the box. ;)

An assertion, is basically a statement you can make, that is either true or false.

Richer people have better health.

The question for that would be, Do richer people have better health?

And don't forget to make your assertion, match your question.
