Why is our body hair concentrated around our genitals and armpits?

Is there any biological purpose or advantage to that layout?

This question is like asking why we have belly buttons. Does it have to make any sense?

I read this answer out loud to my Mum today this question to confirm whether this question is complete claptrap, and she said that although it makes sense, it could be explained in a much more easier to understand way. She said that the purpose of pubic and armpit hair, is to protect sensitive areas, and that we always have hair around sensitive areas. I consider this question fully answered. That must be why white people have more hair (to protect them from the sun), and less melanin in the skin (because there is less sun), sensitive and all that.

What's an assertion, and what should I type in?

Compesh is a question and answer (and debate) website, so before you make a debate, you better learn what an assertion is. I suppose you already know what a question is, and that you've typed it in the box. ;)

An assertion, is basically a statement you can make, that is either true or false.

Richer people have better health.

The question for that would be, Do richer people have better health?
