For website navigation, is it important to have a "Home" link when the logo already takes you there?

I know, for example, that Facebook tracks whether you clicked on the logo or on the "Home" link. Is there any public data about whether there's a significant percentage of users who use the "Home" link?

Here's 2 examples where clicking the logo does not take you to the home page.

Here's a website that has no logo leading to the home page, as the home page is a splash page.

What's an assertion, and what should I type in?

Compesh is a question and answer (and debate) website, so before you make a debate, you better learn what an assertion is. I suppose you already know what a question is, and that you've typed it in the box. ;)

An assertion, is basically a statement you can make, that is either true or false.

Richer people have better health.

The question for that would be, Do richer people have better health?

And don't forget to make your assertion, match your question.
