What is Google's competitive advantage?

Using a single word/phrase, what do you think is Google's competitive advantage as it relates to its attempt at satisfying our queries? People? Relevancy? Knowledge? Experience? Design? Processing? Speed? Something else? Coverage? Scale? or Concept (Authority/PageRank)?

I think it's the concept of finding relevance and authority in graph context. If that holds, then innovation in search will have to happen at the concept level.

What are your thoughts?

The ability to give their own products, including vertical search ones such as Travel, Places, Finance. Shopping, preference in their search results, keeping vertical search products like Yelp down.

This makes search biased, and keeps the user from accessing the content they were looking for. Stealing other people's content also helps.

What's an assertion, and what should I type in?

Compesh is a question and answer (and debate) website, so before you make a debate, you better learn what an assertion is. I suppose you already know what a question is, and that you've typed it in the box. ;)

An assertion, is basically a statement you can make, that is either true or false.

Richer people have better health.

The question for that would be, Do richer people have better health?

And don't forget to make your assertion, match your question.
