Why are so many powerful men involved in sex scandals?

What would happen if powerful women behaved the same way, lying about their sexual relationships and finding time to cheat on their spouses and families? Why does it appear that men, especially in politics, consistently exercise poor judgment, betray trust, and get others to cover up and hide their indiscretions? Maybe men are dogs - but is there a way to keep them from being slaves to their sex organs and turning into hypocrites, liars and cheats?

tynamite's avatar Because rich men have a tendency for collecting things and being astute. How else do you think they get so rich and successful? Women are just another one of those things for those sort of men aspirational to collect. To those people, women are like trading cards. To be able to win the game, you have to have a deck of good cards :D, of different types (of ladiez).

The desire for collecting things goes far beyond women, it also goes to collecting more money, increasing market share, getting more fans and followers, doing hobbies that have achievements tied into them, and other such things. I'm sure that celebrities and politicians involved in sex scandals collect other things than women.

What's an assertion, and what should I type in?

Compesh is a question and answer (and debate) website, so before you make a debate, you better learn what an assertion is. I suppose you already know what a question is, and that you've typed it in the box. ;)

An assertion, is basically a statement you can make, that is either true or false.

Richer people have better health.

The question for that would be, Do richer people have better health?

And don't forget to make your assertion, match your question.
