tynamite's avatar Being someone who is a CTO for a hotel booking website, my exprience tells me that the best way to become a CTO is to have a personal or client project that's been done, that shows you know what you're talking about, not just something that looks good. In noob terms, ask yourself how easily a finished project can be expanded upon. Mark Zuckerberg is a visionary like Steve Jobs, not a good CTO. He made a website in PHP and regretted it. A real CTO would never make such noobish mistakes that would require a website be refactored after so many years. You need an idea person and a technical person, someone who can think in the same way a computer thinks.

What's an assertion, and what should I type in?

Compesh is a question and answer (and debate) website, so before you make a debate, you better learn what an assertion is. I suppose you already know what a question is, and that you've typed it in the box. ;)

An assertion, is basically a statement you can make, that is either true or false.

Richer people have better health.

The question for that would be, Do richer people have better health?

And don't forget to make your assertion, match your question.
