Compesh is a question and answer (and debate) website, so before you make a debate, you better learn what an assertion is. I suppose you already know what a question is, and that you've typed it in the box. ;)
An assertion, is basically a statement you can make, that is either true or false.
Richer people have better health.
The question for that would be, Do richer people have better health?
And don't forget to make your assertion, match your question.
Regular computer users do not fully understand how to use a web browser or what RSS is. They can use Word, but have no idea what Mail Merge, Sections, or that office documents have personal information attached to them.
Android has more and better features, but the iPhone has a better user experience. It's harder for iPhone users to switch to Android, because they are not used with dealing with four phone buttons, six action buttons at the bottom of the screen, an overloaded home screen etc.
All these things are out of their scope when using computers, so there's no way possible they'll want to accept it off smartphones.
The wrong reasons.
Answers about the Android Market, battery life, and iTunes are not the reason. Most people only ever use 4 applications on their smartphones. I'm sick of people always using applications as a reason for why smartphone platforms start and fail, the reason is not that basic.
I know for a fact that people use Bluetooth, an sd cart to transfer music or their usb cable, and not iTunes in most cases.
