tynamite's avatar Men do not find feminism a turn-off, and any man that does is a scarily narcicisstic one and a control freak who needs to sort his life out and fix up. If a man feels threatened by the idea of women being equal to him, he needs a long think about where his morale and self worth comes from. Men typically want there to be equality in this world, so they're happy to support the women feminists for being feminists. The way men see it: it's not like feminism actually takes power away from men, so why should they hate it? It's not like discrimination laws stopped white people from getting jobs by helping black people, so to them, what's the problem with feminism? There is none.

However, seeing as you say some, then there are some men who believe that feminism is not about achieving equality for women, and that it's instead about making women superior to men. As men don't usually encounter many feminists, one feminist who does something different or not understood; can be enough to install a prejudice in his mind for him to decide not to like them. By some I mean a few.

What's an assertion, and what should I type in?

Compesh is a question and answer (and debate) website, so before you make a debate, you better learn what an assertion is. I suppose you already know what a question is, and that you've typed it in the box. ;)

An assertion, is basically a statement you can make, that is either true or false.

Richer people have better health.

The question for that would be, Do richer people have better health?

And don't forget to make your assertion, match your question.
