How has Quora improved Quora users lives?

tynamite's avatar Quora has not improved my life in any way. There is nothing here that I have learnt, that I can take away with me after I've left this website, into the future.

Update 2012

I've learnt more from the people here and what they say to me, than the actual answers I read. If you've ever spoken to me on Quora, I can remember everything you've said. All I have with me when I logout and walk down the street, is the people. All I've learnt is not to call people stupid anymore, and have narcissistic tendencies around hypersensitive people.

The fact that you have not learnt as single thing from Quora says more about you than it does about Quora. The fact that you are on this site every day for a long time now, despite Quora not improving your life in any way, also speaks volumes.

Thanks for that. It's nice to know I'm improving someone's life, but I don't know exactly how. Me sharing my knowledge and perspective doesn't help me as I already know it.

Also I've quit using Quora as the questions don't interest me anymore.

What's an assertion, and what should I type in?

Compesh is a question and answer (and debate) website, so before you make a debate, you better learn what an assertion is. I suppose you already know what a question is, and that you've typed it in the box. ;)

An assertion, is basically a statement you can make, that is either true or false.

Richer people have better health.

The question for that would be, Do richer people have better health?

And don't forget to make your assertion, match your question.
