How come if you download a song off the internet you can get a $50 000 fine but if you are a CEO of the bank that has been involved in serious corruption in New York - you don't go jail at all?

I refer to the case of the death of Aaron Swartz

where he was facing a potential 30 years in jail for distributing copyright free educational material of MIT that came from JSTOR's unlimited access of both free and made-free content.

High street banks are constantly involved with billion dollar frauds and even laundering drug money - yet what happens is a person pays a fine (effectively bribe) and nothing happens.

Does this not concern US citizens?

I could have gone to prison 3 times this year, but never did.

What's an assertion, and what should I type in?

Compesh is a question and answer (and debate) website, so before you make a debate, you better learn what an assertion is. I suppose you already know what a question is, and that you've typed it in the box. ;)

An assertion, is basically a statement you can make, that is either true or false.

Richer people have better health.

The question for that would be, Do richer people have better health?

And don't forget to make your assertion, match your question.
