tynamite's avatar If you know why you feel the way you feel, and understand whether or not you truly deal with your sad emotions, you are self aware. A self aware person, because they understand the way their mind works, can know their bad points, and how to improve as a person. Also they never reply "I don't know" when asked why they've done something.

Not everyone thinks about whether their sadness will be the end of them, and whether it's justified or repressed (pushed under the carpet).

A self aware person knows that if they don't express or deal with their emotions, they are repressing them, regardless of whether they are aware of them or not.

I am a self aware person. I am very aware of why I do things, how I think, and my thought patterns.

What's an assertion, and what should I type in?

Compesh is a question and answer (and debate) website, so before you make a debate, you better learn what an assertion is. I suppose you already know what a question is, and that you've typed it in the box. ;)

An assertion, is basically a statement you can make, that is either true or false.

Richer people have better health.

The question for that would be, Do richer people have better health?

And don't forget to make your assertion, match your question.
