Is it possible to love someone you don't have direct contact with?

What would the nature of this sort of love be?

tynamite's avatar Yes. In fact the feeling is apparently stronger than someone you've met, as there's more focus on their personality. There are certain personalities that certain people fall in love with, online or offline.

When such a person comes into contact with such a person over the internet, their presence can be captivating, and they start to count down the hours until they come on instant messenger in their head. They feel that way, because of the way the other person makes them feel, or because the presence that the person has that engulfs them to think that there is something they can seek there.

It happens. I've seen it.

What's an assertion, and what should I type in?

Compesh is a question and answer (and debate) website, so before you make a debate, you better learn what an assertion is. I suppose you already know what a question is, and that you've typed it in the box. ;)

An assertion, is basically a statement you can make, that is either true or false.

Richer people have better health.

The question for that would be, Do richer people have better health?

And don't forget to make your assertion, match your question.
