Why are there so many more single male homeless people than single female homeless people?
This is a follow-up question to What percentage of the homeless are female?.

First things first, let's disregard the libertarian belief that because women are more valued or parental than men, that it makes them less likely to be homeless. That is nonsense. In my course I wrote many essays about health, and how health can affect society.
I've learnt that education is a key factor in people's lives, and that affects two things in people's lives: health and money. There is a direct correlation between how educated someone is, and how healthy and rich they are. The more educated you are, the more money you have. The more money you have, the healthier you are.
Because education affects those two things, research demonstrates that it also affects their lifestyle.
People who are less educated are more likely to smoke, they are more likely to take days off from work, and they are more likely to drink alcohol. In short, they are more likely to be stressed out by the pressures of Western life. You could compare a homeless man to an Amish person who moves to the city and cannot cope with the responsibilities and expectations of it all.
The pressures of our Western modern lives take their toll on lesser educated people, and renders them homeless. And which people in society are the ones who go to work? The men!
There are many more homeless men than women, because men are subjected to pressures to work, and bad health, to a greater extent than women.
