tynamite's avatar Here's why people don't like mainstream pop music
Listen to it yourself in retrospect and realise how bad it really is. Imagine filling up an ipod with only songs like the one below. People do it.

Don't Stop The Pop 2010 mashup

The cream of mainstream music August 2010 (my video)

The problem with pop music is that it has no substance, with all the songs sounding the same. Because of this, the songs have no longevity, so you're hooked onto the next fix of music as your old music is short lived. Pre-teen girls who listen to chart music have listened to the same song for the year.

What's an assertion, and what should I type in?

Compesh is a question and answer (and debate) website, so before you make a debate, you better learn what an assertion is. I suppose you already know what a question is, and that you've typed it in the box. ;)

An assertion, is basically a statement you can make, that is either true or false.

Richer people have better health.

The question for that would be, Do richer people have better health?

And don't forget to make your assertion, match your question.
