Why are movie producers choosing to make movies 3D instead of focusing more on content?

It seems that every recent movie is in 3D, and the focus is on that rather than the actual storyline. Many movies put 3D and visuals first and put the plot line on the back burner.

Many people I have asked said that they would prefer a better quality story than 3D.

tynamite's avatar Because kids will ask their parents to see their movie if it's in 3D, (omg :O wow) so movie producers don't have to spend so much time creating quality movies and insightful trailers.

Just imagine how many more kids would pressure their parents to see the dispicable Alvin and The Chipmunks, if it was in glorious 3D.

What's an assertion, and what should I type in?

Compesh is a question and answer (and debate) website, so before you make a debate, you better learn what an assertion is. I suppose you already know what a question is, and that you've typed it in the box. ;)

An assertion, is basically a statement you can make, that is either true or false.

Richer people have better health.

The question for that would be, Do richer people have better health?

And don't forget to make your assertion, match your question.
