Would communism be a good solution to eradicate the stratification of wealth that the Occupy X protestors hate?

stratified: To form/arrange into layers. Stratified countries have a disparity (a huge difference) in wealth. eg. India, China.

Many Occupy Wall Street protesters are saying "down with the rich" and "rich people should pay more taxes."

Since they harbor such resentment against the rich, would communism give them the wealth equality they want?

What's an assertion, and what should I type in?

The question for that would be, Do richer people have better health?
