1. You greet your date looking nonchalant

2. When talking, be interested in the topical things they have to say from the Today I Learned subreddit. Remember to look intrigued.

3. Don't forget to upvote their funny comments that they say. Reddit users love humour too, so try to have one of you looking like this.

4. Keep your forward nature and clinginess to a minimum. You can flirt, but make sure the tone is kept very light and airy. You don't want to be on your date like a rash, looking like this all the way through. That would creep girls out.

5. Loosen up and just roll with it. You're not giving a speech, and you're not cotching with your friends waiting for the bus. Don't think too hard about what to talk about. Most likely the most unsubstantial things that you'll think in the back of your mind, will be the things that get the best reactions once said. Make passing comments and ask questions, that will show your best side, and get a lot out of your date.

Be a little covert, by doing things and making it look like you're not doing anything.

6. After the date make it look like he or she made an impression on you, but not in a dazed and dizzy way.

And that's how you impress Reddit users on dates.
And one more thing, don't try to troll the users in real life. That shit ain't attractive.

Follow my advice friend, and you'll avoid situations like this - whilst you're sat at the table.

What's an assertion, and what should I type in?

Compesh is a question and answer (and debate) website, so before you make a debate, you better learn what an assertion is. I suppose you already know what a question is, and that you've typed it in the box. ;)

An assertion, is basically a statement you can make, that is either true or false.

Richer people have better health.

The question for that would be, Do richer people have better health?

And don't forget to make your assertion, match your question.
