tynamite's avatar The fact that being drunk makes people let their guard down, it allows them to express things they wouldn't have otherwise expressed. Caring about what others think of your actions, goes out the window.

I remember this person who expressed their undying love for a girl he liked when he was drunk. I know of a girl who when drunk, she chats up guys and gives her number out. This can make you more truthful yes.

It's such a weird concept to imagine, as it's not every day we get to lose our inhabitations. Alcohol isn't a truth potion, it won't let people admit their secrets.

It can also make you more socialable

I was tipsy and because I was, I was chatting all sorts of rubbish about the thoughts that were whizzing round in my head, and a girl started laughing and then became my friend.

Being drunk can make you more socialable, because in real life we like to think of substantial stuff to talk about and worry about coming across as boring. Once you're tipsy or drunk, that front layer of talking with convention goes, and you spew words that make you more chatty and interesting.

That too is a weird concept to imagine, as it's not something I think we have done in many years.

What's an assertion, and what should I type in?

Compesh is a question and answer (and debate) website, so before you make a debate, you better learn what an assertion is. I suppose you already know what a question is, and that you've typed it in the box. ;)

An assertion, is basically a statement you can make, that is either true or false.

Richer people have better health.

The question for that would be, Do richer people have better health?

And don't forget to make your assertion, match your question.
