tynamite's avatar No. For example:

  • What is the last digit of the largest prime number?
  • How can everyone in the world be rich, and there be a tanzanite necklace for everyone?

Strictly speaking, infinity doesn't have digits at all. Perhaps you're thinking of something like "What is the last digit of an irrational number?"

Infinity does have digits. It goes like this 99999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999

Now I need to change my answer now.

No, infinity just isn't a number with digits. No matter how many 9s you add to that, you won't get infinity, and you won't even approach infinity. Infinity isn't a natural number - and in fact, there are many different kinds of infinity defined by their cardinality. The Wikipedia article does a decent job of explaining: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Infinity

I couldn't find anything there that said that infinity wasn't infinite nines.

" it is not the same sort of number as the real numbers" implies that. Plus, there are infinite kinds of infinity. They couldn't all be infinite nines anyway.

What's an assertion, and what should I type in?

Compesh is a question and answer (and debate) website, so before you make a debate, you better learn what an assertion is. I suppose you already know what a question is, and that you've typed it in the box. ;)

An assertion, is basically a statement you can make, that is either true or false.

Richer people have better health.

The question for that would be, Do richer people have better health?

And don't forget to make your assertion, match your question.
