What startup idea or business would be really successful: if only it had every active Facebook user as an active user?

If 1/10 people used it.
If everyone at least knew about it.
If every person on the planet had it.

tynamite's avatar Every startup would be successful if it had every active Facebook user on it. It's not about the execution, it's about the marketing. Anything can work nowadays, look at Netflix.

There was a person who made a conceptual art piece called Art Is Shit, and he put some of his own shit in a can, and priced it as the price of how much it would cost gram for gram, if it was gold in the can. The artwork was really successful and sold for a lot of money.

Foursquare is a daringly dull startup to advertise as there's not much value the service provides, other than collecting badges from going to places. Netflix and Lovefilm is a daringly dull startup to advertise as people can buy DVDs from Amazon and stream them from other websites rather than have them posted.

It's not about the execution, it's about the marketing. The worse alternative with the best marketing plan always wins.

What's an assertion, and what should I type in?

Compesh is a question and answer (and debate) website, so before you make a debate, you better learn what an assertion is. I suppose you already know what a question is, and that you've typed it in the box. ;)

An assertion, is basically a statement you can make, that is either true or false.

Richer people have better health.

The question for that would be, Do richer people have better health?

And don't forget to make your assertion, match your question.
