What is going to come after HTML5?

I recently found this http://www.w3.org/wiki/HTML/next page on W3C, which seems to be asking for things to be added to the next version of HTML after HTML5. Is it the start of "HTML6" or is it stuff that will come in HTML5.1? What other stuff will come along side in HTML6/HTML5.1?

tynamite's avatar Nothing, as websites will be able to finally replicate the functionality of desktop applications. They'll already using offline storage and geolocation, and soon HTML5 will be using the webcam and microphone input.

As WHATWG has got rid of version numbers for HTML, HTML will be an everchanging standard, with no deadlines or revisions to stick to. It'll be like Wikipedia, with all the focus put on replicating desktop and animation features.

HTML in 10 years time will continue going the way that HTML is going now. The only new thing will be access to camera and microphone sensors. The general direction will be the same, and Google will love it!

What's an assertion, and what should I type in?

Compesh is a question and answer (and debate) website, so before you make a debate, you better learn what an assertion is. I suppose you already know what a question is, and that you've typed it in the box. ;)

An assertion, is basically a statement you can make, that is either true or false.

Richer people have better health.

The question for that would be, Do richer people have better health?

And don't forget to make your assertion, match your question.
