The reason why is because the government and media doesn't want to inform the citizens, about the extremism in Islam abroad, as it would be politically incorrect to cast a religion as bad. Muslims in the West believe that them covering up with a burka is a religious mark of respect - how wrong they are!
Why are Muslim denunciations of violence and terrorism not widely known?
Why is it that despite repeated denunciations of violence by Muslims, we still get questions like: Do moderate Muslims denounce violent acts by radical fundamentalists? If not, why? that seem to indicate a belief that Muslims don't denounce violence?
