What is the best logo ever created? 'Best' being defined as a logo that is memorable and has a voice of its own.

Logos and logotypes are welcome. 'Best' is defined as a logo that is memorable and has a voice of its own.

tynamite's avatar Channel 4.
I will explain why, to all you people not in Britain.
channel 4 logo

Not only does the logo look good, and represent the brand name, but it also represents the products that the company pushes out. Not many logos can do that. In the UK, every British tv and radio station has a public service remit that they submit to Ofcom, that grants them the legal right to broadcast. If they break this remit, their license is revoked.

Here is their remit.

"The public service remit for Channel 4 is the provision of a broad
range of high quality and diverse programming which, in particular:

  • demonstrates innovation, experiment and creativity in the form and content of programmes;
  • appeals to the tastes and interests of a culturally diverse society;
  • makes a significant contribution to meeting the need for the licensed
    public service channels to include programmes of an educational nature
    and other programmes of educative value; and
  • exhibits a distinctive character.

The remit also involves an obligation to provide programming for schools,[3] and a substantial amount of programming produced outside of Greater London.
The way the idents for Channel 4 are done, is that as the logo is 3D, it looks different at each angle you look at it.

They even have 3D 4 statues outside their HQ. They periodically change them round to different ones.

What's an assertion, and what should I type in?

Compesh is a question and answer (and debate) website, so before you make a debate, you better learn what an assertion is. I suppose you already know what a question is, and that you've typed it in the box. ;)

An assertion, is basically a statement you can make, that is either true or false.

Richer people have better health.

The question for that would be, Do richer people have better health?

And don't forget to make your assertion, match your question.
