What causes natural death?

I'm curious as to how people actually die. I am curious about the normal garden variety death simply from old age. How do people die? In what ways does the body fail(I assume there are many)? Do the cells become unstable? Does the bone structure become too weak and brittle? Do cells stop multiplying? Do nerve cells degenerate?

  • Your heart has done 1 billion heartbeats. In fact all animals die after that.
  • Your lungs are worn out, as they damage slightly with every breath you make.
  • Something to do with your blood, I don't know what. Scientists have brought dead people back to life, by replacing their blood with plasma, or maybe they were on the blood waiting list, leaving that reason false.

What's an assertion, and what should I type in?

Compesh is a question and answer (and debate) website, so before you make a debate, you better learn what an assertion is. I suppose you already know what a question is, and that you've typed it in the box. ;)

An assertion, is basically a statement you can make, that is either true or false.

Richer people have better health.

The question for that would be, Do richer people have better health?

And don't forget to make your assertion, match your question.
