tynamite's avatar First things first, you need music with slow release energy like porridge, but it has to be energetic. You want to stay away from dance music like sugar, as it can't be hyper either (unless you're only playing it for half an hour).

Secondly, you'll need to find out whether you like music with layers, or music that flows. This is something new that I'm learning about when making an album. Which you choose is up to you.

Basically, with urban music like hip hop, it's all about the layers of the music. There's an intro, and something goes in the song, then something else goes in on top of it. The layers are interleaved and changes being fickle. With indie music, it's instead about the flow of the music. The flow is maintained and changes being diverting.

Now I've given you the requirements and choice you can make, you can now make a better decision of what to play when cleaning. I will now give my recommendations. The last one is an indie band, it's the only one that really flows. As you can tell, I listen to mostly urban music.

  • Lil Wayne
  • Terror Danjah - Hardrive
  • Ruff Sqwad (Guns and Roses), Tinchy Stryder (Star In The Hood, Lost and Found), Dirty Danger, Rapid, Fuda Guy, Slix (Daddy's Home)
  • Skint & Demoralised

If I have to listen to dance music, I listen to uk garage.

What's an assertion, and what should I type in?

Compesh is a question and answer (and debate) website, so before you make a debate, you better learn what an assertion is. I suppose you already know what a question is, and that you've typed it in the box. ;)

An assertion, is basically a statement you can make, that is either true or false.

Richer people have better health.

The question for that would be, Do richer people have better health?

And don't forget to make your assertion, match your question.
