Are there any advantages to having crime in society?

tynamite's avatar A good reason to have crime in society, is so that the "scum" of society, the poverished people from the bad areas, can have their government introduce drugs into their area, lock them up inside prisons, so that they are no longer a burden on society. Sometimes this is an easier and more widespread solution to gentrification, another solution designed to move poor people away from their areas and onto the streets by rendering them homeless. Inciting drug gangs and locking them up once they're on the streets, is logically the next step.

In America, prisoners are forced to be slaves doing work, and are beaten if they refuse. That makes prisons profitable businesses, don't you think? They're killing two birds with one stone.

What's an assertion, and what should I type in?

Compesh is a question and answer (and debate) website, so before you make a debate, you better learn what an assertion is. I suppose you already know what a question is, and that you've typed it in the box. ;)

An assertion, is basically a statement you can make, that is either true or false.

Richer people have better health.

The question for that would be, Do richer people have better health?

And don't forget to make your assertion, match your question.
