How do you know if you're naive?

tynamite's avatar When you're easily manipulated. Sadly naive people can only learn this, after they've been used. No actually, the answer is, when you make bad choices trusting people. Shannon is right.

However naive people can go years being manipulated not being used in a devious plot, living in bliss being susceptible to suggestion and easily provoked reactions.

They live in bliss and harmony with others, until the eventual day of their realisation, which happens when some sly devious person takes advantage of them using them. Then they start to blame themselves after that happens for being naive/stupid/foolish/a bad person/wrong. Cue the trust issues. Going from one extreme to the other. From then on, they won't trust anyone, and have trust issues. Life is now a bitch!

For example

Before at lunch time when deciding where to eat, that person would suggest to eat somewhere, and another person would (manipulate) no persuade the person to eat somewhere else. While eating, the naive person would be happy having a chat with friends talking about lots of things. It was definite that the naive person wouldn't eat at their desired place

Now that the person is naive, they are now unlikely to eat at their desired place for lunch, but once at the place to eat, lets say Starbucks, they spend their time paranoid wondering who around them is going to deceive or use them, and even though they could still be easily manipulated (or maybe not), they put up a wall as everyone or anyone around them could hurt them, so they keep a distance, or become more mute to express their love for others less.

What's an assertion, and what should I type in?

Compesh is a question and answer (and debate) website, so before you make a debate, you better learn what an assertion is. I suppose you already know what a question is, and that you've typed it in the box. ;)

An assertion, is basically a statement you can make, that is either true or false.

Richer people have better health.

The question for that would be, Do richer people have better health?

And don't forget to make your assertion, match your question.
