What's the difference between naïve and gullible?

This is a follow-up question to How do you know if you're naive?.

tynamite's avatar A naive person thinks that all is good with other people, thus the world, and doesn't take any possible circumstances into account to think that anyone could be deceptive or manipulative, so they trust people blindly, and put faith into things that a normal person would not (as they can see circumstances, not just actions).

A gullible person is impressionable, so it is easy for you to make your mark on them. They are susceptible to suggestion, so they are easily influenced and tricked.

One has a skewed view of others which affects how they see the world.
One has an accurate view of others, but you can affect how they see their world.

What's an assertion, and what should I type in?

Compesh is a question and answer (and debate) website, so before you make a debate, you better learn what an assertion is. I suppose you already know what a question is, and that you've typed it in the box. ;)

An assertion, is basically a statement you can make, that is either true or false.

Richer people have better health.

The question for that would be, Do richer people have better health?

And don't forget to make your assertion, match your question.
