Do we really have free will if we can't choose the one we love?

Assumption: We can choose who we love (care about) but not who we are in love with. (At least not me.)

tynamite's avatar We fall in love with people because of their personality in relation to ours. How we treat them is how we excersize our free will. This question is like asking whether I have free will, because my favourite colour is blue, and because I love engaging in creativity and expression instead of science and technology.

What's an assertion, and what should I type in?

Compesh is a question and answer (and debate) website, so before you make a debate, you better learn what an assertion is. I suppose you already know what a question is, and that you've typed it in the box. ;)

An assertion, is basically a statement you can make, that is either true or false.

Richer people have better health.

The question for that would be, Do richer people have better health?

And don't forget to make your assertion, match your question.
