What makes a celebrity woman's photograph "iconic"?
Below are some examples of photographs of celebrity women many publications consider iconic. My publicist and I are planning to hire a photographer to capture iconic photographs of me for some upcoming PR, and I want them to be memorable and equally iconic to these examples. To do so, first I need your help to define "iconic".
My definition of an iconic photograph of a female celebrity in the 20th or 21st century is one that celebrates her uniqueness -- not necessarily her supposed "beauty" -- her spirit, and a certain timelessness, positioned ironically against what I would consider fairly clear visual indications in that photograph of the era in which she existed and was famous, hinting that she "embodied the time".
What do you think?
What elements of these are "in common", if any?
What made them "iconic"? Why?
And thanks for all responses!

If that person was to have a fragrance that you were marketing, you would be happy to put that photograph on the box of the fragrance.
