Is abortion a form of eugenics?
For the definition of eugenics, please see the Wikipedia entry here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eugenics which in its definition
includes the following: "Today it is widely regarded as a brutal movement which inflicted massive human rights violations on millions of people.[15] The "interventions" advocated and practiced by eugenicists involved prominently the identification and classification of individuals and their families, including the poor, mentally ill, blind, deaf, developmentally disabled, promiscuous women, homosexuals and entire racial groups — such as the Roma and Jews — as "degenerate" or "unfit"; the segregation or institutionalisation of such individuals and groups, their sterilization, euthanasia, and in the extreme case of Nazi Germany, their mass extermination.[16]

society
understand
If you count parents aborting disabled children as eugenics, then you have a problem.
There is a reason why people in Western countries can't select the gender of their babies.
Think about that before you class abortion as wrong. Natural Selection is not what it is. Aborting disabled children or ones born out of wedlock, is not a method of sculpting society to a prospective landscape.
