How often do people pretend to be surprised by something you did even though they already knew about it?

Even if you cheated on someone and you confessed it to them when they already knew that you were cheating, it would still surprise them, regardless.

The only people who "pretend" to be "surprised", are mothers who smile gleamingly at their kids, when they hand them some artwork they did on some paper, that they stick on the fridge with a magnet, even though they know full well, that it's shit.

Happy or not, whether the exasperation is pretend or false, is for you to decide.

Seriously though, they don't.

What's an assertion, and what should I type in?

Compesh is a question and answer (and debate) website, so before you make a debate, you better learn what an assertion is. I suppose you already know what a question is, and that you've typed it in the box. ;)

An assertion, is basically a statement you can make, that is either true or false.

Richer people have better health.

The question for that would be, Do richer people have better health?

And don't forget to make your assertion, match your question.
