Why is it that some people manage to have a happy carefree nature and operate with a cheerful disposition, for seemingly no reason?
You was probably like that as a very young child, but you just forgot.
If you go to a nursery where the children are aged 3 years old maximum, you'll see that the toddlers have an unusually cheerful disposition on life, that is absent from adults. They still have their innocence. They have not been broken by the world. They haven't been exposed to its horrors.
How it feels like when you're truly happy in life, is that routine is exciting, so you welcome the changes of the schedule, and walking around a place where there is loads of stimuli for you to see, it's exhilarating.
If you notice, you'll see that some adults still have this way about them, that cheerful disposition on life. They are the lucky ones who have not yet been broken by the world. They might not have their innocence any more as they know the world's not perfect, but they still are how they were, morale wise, as they were when they were a very young child.
The reason why people like Julie Prentice has this way about her, and why Mary Bennett does not, is because Julie had a much better childhood than the one that Mary got. Mary had enough problems in her life as a child as it is, so it is understandable why her as an adult wouldn't be answering every question with smilies everywhere. Whereas Julie was smiling as a child so often for a child's standards anyway, smiling at the staff in the cinema, so they got charmed inadvertently so they'd let her family into see movies for free. For goodness sake, she's sprinkling the whole Quora place with upvotes and promotions, spreading the goodwill with her an everyone else's credits. Her opinion of the human race is very high and is not held in contempt.
Emotions are like Line Rider
You can be happy and you can be sad at any time, but as you go through life, you can end up in a really high place on the screen or a low place, but whatever place you end up at, that's what your general mood is. You can be happy and sad in both instances, but your outlook on life will be determined from the prerequisites and journey you take.
