Contrassistance

noun
When everyone is telling you to do something and you are unsure or disagree with everyone's advice.

Eliza had contrassistance, because she stopped eating meals on a regular basis against the advice of her doctors and family because she felt envious that her female peers had a better body shape and weight than her.
Etymology: Taken from the words contradiction and assistance.

Beherence

adjective

A sudden change in behaviour that the other person is not aware of.

I love this word because it's so versatile. It combines elements of the three words: oblivious, naive and inherent. It can be used in a good way to say alluring, or a bad way to say neglect. It expresses so many things, in just a word.

  • Alex didn't know that the phone call would come to a beherent early end.
  • Kelsey gazed at Dakota evoking such beherence, and he looked away because he felt guilty badmouthing her earlier. She had no idea.
  • Taylor was unaware that his words had caused Ashley not to trust him. Ashley didn't like his narcissistic tendencies, as it made her question whether he actually cared about her. He was good for most of the time, but the little things that he said, that could easily be ignored or disregarded, left her doubts. Taylor acted with such beherence within Ashley's presence.
  • Sam today was unjustly adored and offered kindness, the most among her female friends. She wanted to know what was so beherent about her to deserve it.
  • "I wish I could stop doing beherent things. Look at her staring smiling at me while I'm getting work done in the office. What do I say to her? She'll approach me when we go to our break soon."

You can easily make up so many contexts for that word, and have just that one word alone, mean so many things!

When multiple girls said hello to Sheridon and smiled in a seductive way at him while walking to their destination, when he turned around, he noticed that a girl called Meena was looking envious.
Etymology: Taken from the word inherence/inherent

Compliphant

adjective

A person who feeds someone's ego.

Every time Sheridon saw Tracy, she remarked to his face that he was so cute. As annoying as she is to Sheridon, he liked her presence as she was his compliphant.
Etymology: Combination of compliment and sycophant.

Evocentric

adjective

A person who lives for evolutionary biology, which means to live your life in such a way that it increases your chances of reproducing to the highest amount possible.

"I'm all about that lifestyle you see in the trap music videos. Having sex with as much women as possible and getting as much money as possible. Fucking bitches, getting money, smoking weed, driving flashy cards running a business, going to the gym, acting dark triad, being popular, getting social proof."
Etymology: Combination of evolution and centric.

Nedimp

adjective

A person who gets sad when someone they are interacting with who they care about or want to befriend, does something deemed unfavourable, no matter how trivial the action, because they want the best kind of relationship with that person.

"What sort of music do you like?"
"I like Vampire Weekend, Two Door Cinema Club, and Arctic Monkeys"
"I like 2step garage, future garage and tech house."
"OMG I told you what artists I like and you didn't"
Etymology: Nedi from needy's etymology and imp from impeccable.

Bamn

adjective
A person who will always do something bad to someone with ever-increasing extremity, to shut down their voice and make them suffer "by any means nessacary".
"You tried to get me fired from my job but you can't, you bamn. I will always be making money!"
Etymology: By any means nessacary

Cobber

adjective
A person who wants to live in a "closed off box room" with no windows no doors, a TV, sofa, bed, microwave and not a mobile phone but a pager so they can only interact with people they are allowed to interact with, living a life where all their basic needs are catered for in one room.

PS. I wrote an article about cobbers you can read here.

Etymology: The word contains the first letters of "closed off box room" in order.

Moneymaxminded

What's an assertion, and what should I type in?

Compesh is a question and answer (and debate) website, so before you make a debate, you better learn what an assertion is. I suppose you already know what a question is, and that you've typed it in the box. ;)

An assertion, is basically a statement you can make, that is either true or false.

Richer people have better health.

The question for that would be, Do richer people have better health?

And don't forget to make your assertion, match your question.
