tynamite's avatar Yes. When some joker man set a dog on me and my brother. We ran like mad. Luckily we moved up a wall and in a park, so we could have a headstart. I was 13 and he was 15.

We were at the bus stop, and we were staring at him, and he was staring at us, and eventually he smiled and let go of the leash.

Luckily we were right next to the park, so we jumped up the hill in an instant, and lost the dog. I think he knew we could beat the dog anyway.

Another time we ran for our life, is when we went to a marsh full of tall plants for fun. In some places the water was up to our ankles, and in some places, it went up to our knees which we did not expect. It also got higher, but we backed out of that quick.

We came to the conclusion that we could drown, if we did not be careful where we went. We couldn't actually run, as we could run too fast. So we had to rapidly but slowly brisk, one leg over the other one at a time, with a slight pause inbetween. We had no idea where the exit was, just to go where the water is the shallowest, for that was where the entrance and exit was. Water was the map. How exhilarating and frightening it was.

What's an assertion, and what should I type in?

Compesh is a question and answer (and debate) website, so before you make a debate, you better learn what an assertion is. I suppose you already know what a question is, and that you've typed it in the box. ;)

An assertion, is basically a statement you can make, that is either true or false.

Richer people have better health.

The question for that would be, Do richer people have better health?

And don't forget to make your assertion, match your question.
