If you had the resources of a cable network to start an advocacy campaign, what would you do?

tynamite's avatar The problem with charities, is that whatever money they give, it's a drop in the ocean to solve all the poverty in the world. So with that said, it is best to give to a charity, that can dissolve itself once it has run its course. Such a charity is called Water Aid, as they setup wells so people abroad can have clean drinking water. Once Water Aid has solved its finite and conceivable mission, it as a charity will cease to exist. So for me, that's the best charity to donate to. I would get people to donate to it.

The next campaign would get me in hot water, as the news channels pumping out propaganda, would not want me to air this, so it would probably get taken off the airwaves. But it would be to show what is really going on in the world, from the high orders, and without using the cliché shock doctrine. It would be a tv show called What Is Wrong, to show things that left and rigingers can commonly agree as wrong. More libertarians in the world there would be. People will realise to stand against the politicians who are taking away their rights, and see the puppets for who they really are. If people really knew how politics worked, they would be repulsed for who they voted for.

The next thing I would advocate for is me. Just like how the Million Dollar Homepage person got lucky because his friend worked for The Sun so he got him to write an article about his site in the newspapers. I would be creating tv shows, more novels, and all retail stores and startups I wish to create.

The next thing I would do, is to break the divide and conquer ethos going around, and setup youth clubs, conferences, and agencies. Not only would I have the power to influence viewers, but I could also influence my world around me with my contacts.

What's an assertion, and what should I type in?

Compesh is a question and answer (and debate) website, so before you make a debate, you better learn what an assertion is. I suppose you already know what a question is, and that you've typed it in the box. ;)

An assertion, is basically a statement you can make, that is either true or false.

Richer people have better health.

The question for that would be, Do richer people have better health?

And don't forget to make your assertion, match your question.
