Is it true that men don't want relationships?

tynamite's avatar Men are polygamous and women are hypergamous (attracted by status).
Men are attracted by youth and beauty, and women are attracted by money and power.

To illustrate this, "the worst online dating profile ever" could exhibit an awful personality with photos from a model and still have men interested in her (with one saying they would let their teeth be pulled out), and also that male celebrities get sex offered to them on a plate from women.

Given the choice, men will opt out of marriage in favour for polygamy.

This is hard wired in our brains, is a part of evolutionary biology, and has been passed down from generation to generation for 40,000 years. If you look at the behaviour of other mammals, it's the same.

What's an assertion, and what should I type in?

Compesh is a question and answer (and debate) website, so before you make a debate, you better learn what an assertion is. I suppose you already know what a question is, and that you've typed it in the box. ;)

An assertion, is basically a statement you can make, that is either true or false.

Richer people have better health.

The question for that would be, Do richer people have better health?

And don't forget to make your assertion, match your question.
