How can a person learn to be less racist?

Some people may believe that statistics clearly demonstrate that certain races are superior in certain areas compared to others, but they may feel this may affect their experiences and opportunities negatively in the long run.

What experiences or arguments can change the mind of a racist person?

If a person who is racist was in a situation like in Freaky Friday where they were the person they were racist to, all it would do is reinforce their racist values, and let them continue to believe that they are superior to others, and that their vindicated race is xx.

I've posted a longer answer at If a sexist man could experience what it was like to be a woman, what is the most important lesson that they would learn?

You should read it, and comment on that and this post; so I can know whether you liked my improvements.

What's an assertion, and what should I type in?

Compesh is a question and answer (and debate) website, so before you make a debate, you better learn what an assertion is. I suppose you already know what a question is, and that you've typed it in the box. ;)

An assertion, is basically a statement you can make, that is either true or false.

Richer people have better health.

The question for that would be, Do richer people have better health?

And don't forget to make your assertion, match your question.
