tynamite's avatar It's like having a black rain cloud over your head that follows you whereever you go. Imagine a typical day of sitting down quietly with that black rain cloud, seeing something funny and laughing. After you've laughed, you're back to normal, it's like it never happened.

Think back to when you woke up and got out of bed today. What were you thinking? What was your motivation for getting up, and doing your daily life stuff after eating your breakfast? If you're depressed, eating breakfast is just something you do because you have to do it. When you're depressed, that feeling that gets you up in the morning, lets you live through each day, and go to bed ready for the day tomorrow, does not exist. That feeling is gone.

That's why being depressed leaves people unmotivated to do normal day to day things. Because something really bad happened in their life, to make them give up, and truly think, what's the point?

What's an assertion, and what should I type in?

Compesh is a question and answer (and debate) website, so before you make a debate, you better learn what an assertion is. I suppose you already know what a question is, and that you've typed it in the box. ;)

An assertion, is basically a statement you can make, that is either true or false.

Richer people have better health.

The question for that would be, Do richer people have better health?

And don't forget to make your assertion, match your question.
